Rock Valley - Joint funeral services for accident victims Arthur Vande Hoef, 55, formerly of Rock Valley, and his brother-in-law, Bert Van Kekerix, 47, of Rock Valley, were at 10 A.M., last Monday in The Netherlands Reformed Church here. The Rev. Joel Beeke of Sioux Center officiated.

The two victims were killed Thursday in a truck-train accident near Hills. Minn.

Mr. Van Kekerix was born Oct. 17, 1930 at Rock Valley. He married Jeannette Vande Hoef Jan. 31, 1951, at Sioux Center. They farmed in the Rock Valley area.

Survivors include the widow, Jeannette; his mother, Mrs. Andrew Van Kekerix, two sons, Arlin and Berwyn, and two daughters, the Misses Marilyn and Karen, all of Rock Valley; two sisters, Mrs. William (Adriana) Clarenbeek and Mrs. Albert (Grace) Van Grootheest, both of Rock Valley; and three grandchildren.
