Orange City - Ferdinand C. Schiebout, 61, died Tuesday, Aug. 8, at his home six miles west of Orange City.

Services were at 10 A.M., last Friday at Calvary Christian Reformed Church in Orange City. The Rev. Garrett Doctor officiated, assisted by Mark Scheffer, a student. Burial was at West Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Van Gelder Funeral Home.

Mr. Schiebout was born Dec. 11, 1915 at Rock Valley. On March 19, 1943 he married Florence Zeilinga in Chicago. The Schiebouts farmed in Sioux County most of their married life. A member of the Calvary Christian Reformed Church, Mr. Schiebout served as both elder and deacon. He also served on the Orange City Christian School Board and on the Western Christian High School Board at Hull.
