Hawarden - Lloyd M. Johnson, postmaster at Hawarden from 1971 until 1976, died Tuesday, Aug. 22, at a Hawarden hospital after a long illness. He was 66.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., Friday in the United Methodist Church. The Rev. Marion Bloodworth officiated. Burial was in Grace Hill Cemetery.

A prayer service was at 7:30 P.M., Thursday in the Dow Funeral Home.

Mr. Johnson was born Jan. 1, 1912, at Hawarden. He married Dorothy Brown Feb. 10, 1934, at Elk Point, S.D.
