ORANGE CITY--David Dykstra,93,of Orange City, died Tuesday in the Orange City Municipal Hospital.

Sercices were at 1:30 p.m.Friday in the American Reformed Church. The Rev.Calvin Rynbrandt officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery at Orange City under direction of the Van Etten-Oolman Funeral Home.

Mr. Dykstra was born Sept. 25,1883 in the Netherlands. He came to this country when a child and settled in Le Mars. He married Ada Button Dec.24, 1926. They came to Orange City in 1946. He served on the faculty of Northwestern College, retiring in 1960.

Survivors include the widow; a son, John David of Aberdeen, MD,; a daughter, Mrs.George (Trudy)Den Herder of Luverne, Minn.; Seven grandchildren; two brothers, Galeman of Plymouth, Ind.,and Gerrit of Springfield, SD.. and a sister, Mrs. J (Gertrude) Kolberg of Yankton, SD.
