Johnnie, the nine year old boy of Mr. and Mrs. H. G. Killion residing a few miles northeast of town, died very suddenly last Friday. The little fellow had just recovered from the diphtheria and was apparently feeling better that he had for some time up to a few minutes before he expired.
(found him in the Sioux County cemetery index. John L. Killion died 28 Dec 1891 age 7 years 7 mo and 12 days buried in St. Mary's cemetery Hawarden. No further information on the parents was available for that time period)
