Mrs. Andrew Gelder, 86, formerly of Maurice, died Thursday at a nursing home in Hudsonville, Mich.

Services were at 11 A.M., Monday in the Van Etten-Oolman Funeral Home at Orange City. The Rev. Erwin Voogd officiated. Burial was in Sherman Township Cemetery.

Mrs. Gelder, the former Gertrude Schreur, was born March 19, 1891 at Vriesland, Mich. She came to Maurice when a young girl. She was married to Jake Meylink. He died in 1940.

She was married to Andrew Gelder in the early 1950's and the couple moved to Michigan, Mr. Gelder died.

She was a former member of the Reformed Church at Maurice.

Survivors include several step-children; and a brother.
