Mr. Vriece (Vrieze) a Hollander who came to America last year, died last Friday of Typhoid Fever. He leaves a wife and three children. He was in poor curcumstances, and lived either upon charity or the county most of the time.
(the submitter is not sure who this Mr. Vrieze was. There was a Vrieze family in the 1900 census, wife Dora a widow, with children, John, Dena, Benjamin, Gerrit and Grace. From the site www.genlias.nl John Vrieze 22, b. Varsseveld Geld Neth. married Dora Johanna Navis, 10 apr 1873 at Aalten Geld. However, there appears to be John Vrieze died 1893 married to a Dora, see her obit. The date could be wrong.)
