Peter J. Wilhelmi, 81, Struble, who served several terms as mayor of Struble, died Monday at a Le Mars hospital of an illness of several years.

Services were at 10:30 A.M., Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Struble. The Rev. Gerald Fairfield officiated. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery in Le Mars under direction of the Luedtke Funeral Home in Le Mars.

The Rosary was said at 8 P.M., Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Wilhelmi was born Nov. 5, 1896, in Le Mars. He married Rose Block June 24, 1930 in Hospers.

Mr. Wilhelmi was employed by Plymouth County in street and road maintenance.

Survivors include the widow; three daughters, Miss Florence Wilhelmi at home, Mrs. James (Mildred) Hamman of Kingsley and Mrs. George (Marlys) Kufner of Center City, Minn.; three sisters, Mrs. Harold Hind of Haxton, Colo., Mrs. Frank Kruse of Cherokee and Mrs. Alic Borchers of Le Mars, and seven grandchildren.
