John C. Zeutenhorst, 80, of Sioux Center, died Sunday, January 38, l996 at the Pleasant Acres Nursing Home in Hull, Iowa.
He was born to Herman and Coba (Westra) Zeutenhorst on August 26, l9l5, on the farm near Sioux Center. On December l6, l938, John married Priscilla Vande Berg in Sioux Center, John was employed at AMPI for 28 years. He was a member of the First Reformed Church of Sioux Center.
Survivors include: his wife, Priscilla: two sons and their wives; Gerard and Sharon, Marlyn and Linda, all of Sioux Center; a daughter and her husband; Phyllis and John J. Franken of Sioux Center, a sister, Mrs. Everett (Cora) Van Binsbergen, of Montevideo, Minnesota, a sister-in-law; Mrs. Otto (Minnie) Rowenhorst of Orange City, Iowa; seven grandchildren; Patty Van Zanten, Pam De Roon, Paul Zeutenhorst, Gary Zeutenhorst, Becky Dykshorn, Kristi Vander Kooi, and Karri Faber, and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters (Bertha Koops and Dena Jansen), four brothers (Dick, Gerrit, Herman, and Gerrit), and one grandson (Brian Jon Franken)
