Mrs. Kate B. Stoll, 102, died Friday at a Fontanelle nursing home.

Services were held at 10 A.M., Monday at Van Etten-Oolman Funeral Chapel in Orange City. The Rev. Erwin Voogd officiated. Burial was in the Sherman Township Cemetery near Maurice.

Mrs. Stoll, the former Kate Boer, was born Feb. 2, 1876, in The Netherlands. She came to the United States with her parents in 1882 and settled near Alton. She taught in rural schools near Sioux Center. After she married William Stoll, she moved to Fontanelle where she operated the Stoll Drug Co. for 70 years, retiring at 95 years of age.

Survivors include a son, John of West Plains, Mo.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a brother, Ben of Cleveland, Ohio.
