Lorenz H. Vander Hamm, 77, a former Ireton resident, died Sunday at his home in Highland, Calif.

Services were at 10 A.M., Friday at the United Methodist Church in Ireton. The Rev. Marion Bloodworth officiated. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Ireton under direction of the Dow Funeral Home of Ireton.

Mr. Vander Hamm was born April 5, 1900, in Ireton. He married Ila Houlton June 6, 1928, in Ireton. They moved to California in the mid 50's.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Charles of Davis, Calif.; three daughters Mrs. Clayton (Chalma) Oeson of Cypress, Calif., Mrs. Russell (Charleen) Rhodes of Destin, Fla., and Mrs. Merle (Nadine) Popma of Scotland, S.D.; a brother, Walter of Ireton; three sisters, Mrs. Henry (Tillie) Baack of Cherokee, Mrs. Emerson (Velda) Onken of Blue Jay, Calif., and Mrs. William (Leona) DeJager of Orange, Calif., and 12 grandchildren.
