Simon T. H. Koomia, 72, Rock Valley, died Monday at a Rock Valley filling station after an apparent heart attack.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., Thursday at the First Christian Reformed Church in Rock Valley. The Rev. Paul Bakker will officiate. Burial was in the Valley View Cemetery under direction of the Porter Funeral Home.

Mr. Kooima was born Feb. 22, 1905, in Rock Valley. He married Annie Van Maanen April 24, 1925, in Rock Valley. They farmed in the Rock Valley area for some years.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Thomas and Gerrit, both of Rock Valley; two daughters, Mrs. Ed (Elfiena) Driesen of Marcus and Mrs. Jim (Janet) Van Bochove of Sioux Falls, S.D.; 18 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.
