DeRoon, Case Mrs. 1908-1977

REROON, VANDERSTELT, BEERMAN, HAZEL, DEVRIES, BYKER

BOYDEN--Mrs. Case DeRoon,68, Boyden, died Sunday at her home after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Service were at 1:30p.m. Wednesday at the Boyden United Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Paul Moon officiating. Burial was in Boyden Cemetery under direction of the Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Mrs.DeRoon, the former Clazina VanderStelt, was born July 28, 1908 in Haarlem, The Netherlands, and came to the United State in 1928. She married Feb. 18, 1931 in Lebanon, and the couple lived at Ireton and in California. They had been in Boyden for the past 20 years.

Survivors include the widower; two sons, Cornie of Boyden and John, stationed at Hampton, VA. with the U.S. Air Force; three daughters, Mrs. Merlin (Jennie)Beerman of Sheldon, Mrs. Jerry (Joanne) Hazel of Milford, Mich., and Miss Betty DeRoon of Sioux Falls, SD.; 12 grandchildren; 2 brothers, Martin and Adrian VanderStelt, both of Artesia, Calif., and four sisters, Mrs. Henrietta DeVries of Visalia, Calif. Mrs. Artie Byker of Orland, Calif. and two other in the Netherlands
