HARMS, PARKS, RYKEN, BROWN, AULNER

SIOUX CENTER--Mrs.Fred Harms.96, of Sioux Center, died Monday at a nursing home of long illness.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Porter Funeral Home at Rock Valley. The Rev.David Waterman Officiated. Burial was in Trent, SD.

Mrs.Harms, the former Sarah Parks, was born March 14, 1881, in Missouri. She was married to Fred Harms Dec. 19, 1900 in Missouri. The couple moved to Coleman, SD. in 1907 where they resided until about 20 years ago. She resided in the nursing home 13 years.

Survivors include eight sons, Oscar of Hull, Emil of Sioux Falls,SD. Edwin,of Lennox, SD.Arthur of Rockford, ILL., Walter of Bakerfield, Calif., Virgil of Nashville, Tenn., Earnest of Engelwood, Calif. and William of Grandin, MO.;a daughter, Mrs.Richard (Dora)Ryken of Independence, MO.; 20 grandchildren; two brothers, Earl and Marvin Parks of Sioux Falls, SD.; two sisters, Mrs.Anna Brown of Madison, SD., and Mrs. Alta Aulner of Hasting Neb.
