Services for Janice Brands, 15 year old Rock Valley resident who was injured fatally May 13 in a tractor accident, were held at 1:30 P.M., May 17 in the First Christian Reformed Church.

The Rev. Paul Bakker officiated and burial was in Valley View Cemetery under direction of the Porter Funeral Home.

Miss Brands was driving the tractor on her father's farm about four miles southwest of Rock Valley when the accident occurred.

Miss Brands, was born Oct. 17, 1960, at Hudson, S.D. She attended Rock Valley Community Schools.

Survivors include her parents Mr. & Mrs. Gerrit J. Brands of Rock Valley; two sisters, Karen and Geraldin, both at home and her maternal grandmother, Mrs. Lammert Hoogland of Sioux Center.
