George, Iowa - William Hassebrock, 66, George, died May 18 at a Sibley hospital of a long illness.

Services were held at 1 P.M., May 21 in Zoar Presbyterian Church at George. The Rev. Victor Augsburger officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of the Vogelaar Funeral Home.

Mr. Hassebrock was born Aug. 22, 1909, in Lyon County. He married Vera Kruger, Aug. 17, 1931, at Canton, S.D. He was a retired mechanic.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Dale of Spirit Lake; a daughter, Mrs. Lyle (Verna) Siettnicks of George; two brothers, John of Sioux City and Harvey of Buffalo Center; a sister, Mrs. Dick (Harriet) Van Horn of Portland, Ore., and 10 grandchildren.
