Mrs. Arthur C. Klein, 77, Sioux Center, died May 24 at her home after a long illness.

Services were held May 27 in the First Christian Reformed Church. The Rev. Henry Vanden Heuvel officiated, and burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Memorial Funeral Home.

Mrs. Klein, the former Susie Altena, was born Oct. 24, 1898, at Maurice. She was married Feb. 21, 1919 in Maurice. She and her husband farmed until retirement several years ago.

Survivors include the widower, a daughter, Mrs. Fred (Alice) Langstraat of Hull, 4 sons, Sam of Sioux Center, Clarence of Alton, James of Sherman, S.D., and Adrian of Pipestone, Minn.; a brother, Sam of Sioux Center; two sisters, Mrs. Johanna Int'Veld of St. Paul, Minn., and Mrs. Fannie De Boom of Sioux Center; 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
