Orange City-Mrs. Harry Wallinga, 68, of Orange City, died June 9 in a hospital at Rock Valley.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., June 12 in the American Reformed Church of Orange City. The Rev. Stan Vander Weide officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery, with Van Etten Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Wallinga, the former Alice Vanden Berge, was born May 10, 1908 in Orange City and was a lifetime resident of the community. She was married Feb. 7, 1930 in Orange City. The couple farmed near Orange City until 1960, and moved into town.

Survivors include the widower; a son, Merlyn; four grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Oren (Maybelle) Van Iperen and Mrs. William (Christine) Druyvestein, both of Orange City, Mrs. Martha Schafer and Mrs. Marie Eggink, both of Sioux City.
