Services were held Thursday at 1:30 P.M., at St. Paul Lutheran Church for Lillian Vogel, 72, who died Monday at a Pipestone hospital.

Lillian Winterfeld was born Dec. 14, 1903, near Sioux Center, Iowa. She attended school there and grew to womanhood on her parents' farm. She married Herman Vogel near Sioux Center on Feb. 24, 1931, and they farmed near Pipestone until 1967 when they retired and moved into Pipestone.

Survivors include the widower; two daughters, Mrs. Norman McKie, Sturgis, S.D., and Mrs. Earl Trageser, Blaine; five sisters, Mrs. Amelia Hamann, Clear Lake, S.D.; Mrs. Elizabeth Rockman, Marshall; Mrs. Charles Klohs, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; Mrs. Emma Groth, Pipestone, and Mrs. Arthur Gray, Lincoln, Neb.; four brothers, George, Spokane, Wash.; Emil, Sioux Center; Julius, Hillsboro, Ore.; and Ernest, Scappose, Ore., and six grandchildren.
