Sioux Center-Arie P. Olivier, 70, Sioux Center, died July 6 at a Sioux Center hospital of a long illness.

Services were held at 10 A.M., July 8 in the Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. Wesley Kiel officiated. Burial was in Hope Cemetery at Hull.

Mr. Olivier was born Oct. 30, 1905 at Hull. He came to Sioux Center at age 19. He was a veteran of World War II, who served in the Army. He was an appliance repairman in Sioux Center many years.

Survivors include a brother, Asa of Sioux Center; three sisters, Mrs. Al (Nellie) Scholten of Rock Valley, Iowa, Mrs. E. (Ann) Harsma of Casper, Wyo., and Mrs. Bert (Wilma) Duits of Sioux City.
