Hospers-Bennie Lamfers, 56, of Hospers, died July 7 at his home after suffering an apparent heart attack.

Services were held at 10:30 A.M., July 10 in the Hospers Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Robert Offerdahl officiated. Burial was in the Hospers Cemeter with the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Lamfers was born Jan. 10, 1920, in Ashton. He married Myrtle Boterhoek Aug. 20, 1952, at Hospers. He had been employed as a mechanic in Hospers.

Survivors include the widow; parents, Mr. & Mrs. Henry Lamfers of Ashton; a brother, Fred of Sioux Center; and three sisters, Mrs. Harold (Helen) Buysman of Ashton, Mrs. Tom (Gladys) Dykstra of Ocheydon and Mrs. Art (Joan) Riemersma of Sioux Center.
