Boyden-Mrs. Herman Schroder, 84, of Boyden, died Aug. 17 after a long illness.

Services were held at 1:30 P.M., Aug. 20 in the First Reformed Church. The Rev. Sylvester Moths officiated. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery at Matlock under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home.

Mrs. Schroder, the former Susie Kammlade, was born June 16, 1892, at Matlock. She was married Dec. 19, 1912 at Canton, S.D. Her husband died in 1969.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Mildred) Willemssem of Westbrook, Minn., and Mrs. John (Evelyn) DeGroot of George, Iowa; a sister, Mrs. Georgia Headings of Sheldon; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
