Hawarden-Mrs. David Skogman, 83, of Hawarden, died Sept. 6 at a Hawarden hospital.

Services will be at 1:30 P.M., Sept. 9 at the Dow Funeral Home. The Rev. Marion Bloodworth will officiate. Burial will be in Grace Hill Cemetery.

There will be a prayer service at 8 P.M., Sept. 8 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Skogman, the former Nora Mae Hendricks, was born Sept. 2, 1893, in Union County, S.D. She was married on July 10, 1918, and Mr. Skogman died in 1956. Mr. Skogman had lived most of her life in the Hawarden area.

Survivors include two brothers, Charles Hendricks of Chatsworth and Vernon Hendricks of South Dakota; one sister, Mrs. Rena Jackson of Vermillion, S.D., and three grandchildren whom she raised. Mrs. Jerry (Bonnie) Vlotho and Mrs. Darlow (Sally) Buschboth, both of Ireton, and Raymond Jensen, and 10 great grandchildren.
