Margaret M. Grevengoed, 90, of Paw Paw died Feb. 22, 2007 at the Mendota Lutheran Home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27 at the First Presbyterian Church of Paw Paw with Rev. Dr. Anne Hoflen officiating. Burial will be at Wyoming Cemetery, Paw Paw. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of services at the church. Arrangements were handled by the Torman Funeral Home, Paw Paw.

Mrs. Grevengoed was born May 16, 1916 in Orange City, Iowa to John and Fredricka (Denhartog) DenBeste. She married Henry Grevengoed on Dec. 7, 1938 in Orange City, Iowa. He preceded her in death on April 12, 1999.

Survivors include two sons, Jerald (Neva) Grevengoed and Robert (Barb) Grevengoed, both of Paw Paw; one daughter, Carol (Gerald) Fedders of Centennial, Colo.; one brother, Warren (Jo) DenBeste of Sheldon, Iowa; one niece, Olivia DeGraaf of Orange City, Iowa; seven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and one granddaughter.
Mrs. Grevengoed was engaged in farming with her husband near Hudson, S.D. for their first seven years of marriage. In 1945, the family moved to Middleberg, Iowa where they lived for 25 years. They became involved in the horse racing business and later settled in Paw Paw. Mrs. Grevengoed was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Paw Paw.
