JACOB M. FOREMAN
Maurice--Jacob M. Foreman, 61, of Maurice died Tuesday of an apparent heart attack while vacationing with family members in the Ozarks.
Services were at l0:30 a.m. Saturday in the First Reformed Church, Maurice. The Rev. Erwin Voogd officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery, Orange City with the Van Etten-Oolman Funeral Home of Orange City in charge.
Mr. Foreman was born March 7, l9l6, at rural LeMars, He married Alice Cleveringa Feb. ll, l937, at Alton.
They farmed in the Maurice area 40 years. He was a member of the Maurice Reformed Church and treasurer of the Sioux County Polio Fund for the last l0 years.
Survivors include the widow; two sons, Merlin of Des Moines and Leland of Lelavenworth, Kan.; five grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. E.M. "Bud" (Marcia) Albers of Alton and Mrs. Newman (Betty) DeHaas of Silver Spring, MD>; three brothers, John of Orange City, Edward of Sioux Center and Marvin of Lakewood, Calif.
