SIOUX CENTER--Jacob I.Moeller, 55, Sioux Center Died Saturday at Sioux Center hospital after a lengthy illness.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Central Reformed Church in Sioux Center. The Rev. Wesley Kiel will officiate. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Sioux Center under direction of the Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Moeller was born feb.13, 1922 in Sioux Center. He married Agnes Joyce Boeyink of Sioux Center.He was a volunteer fireman, a park commissioner, a member of the Chamber of Commerce, an American Legion officer and a member of the Cooperative Burial Association. He also belong to the Sandy Hollow Committee and was on the board of directors of the IMT Insurance Co. of Des Moines.
Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Alvin (Suzanne) Franken of Sioux Center; three sons, Martin, Kent and Thomas, all of Sioux Center; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin T Moeller of Sioux Center; three sisters, Mrs. Ed (Ruth) Vander Ploeg of Encinitas, Calif., and Mrs. Wilbur(Margaret)Maris and Mrs. George (Lois) DeRuyter, both of La Habra, Calif.; and four grandchildren
