MAURICE--Mrs. Albert DeJager, 79, of Maurice died Saturday at an Orange City hosptial after a lengthy illness.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Reformed Church in Maurice. The Rev. Erwin Voogd officiated. Burial was in Sherman Township Cemetery near Maurice under direction of the Van Etten-Oolman Funeral Home of Orange City.

Mrs. DeJager, the former Henrietta VanPeursem, was born March 10, 1898 in Maurice. She was married Jan. 7,1920, in Maurice. She lived her entired married life in the Maurice area. She was a member of First Reformed Church.

Survivors include the widower; a son Paul of Maurice; a daughter, Mrs. Peter (Leona) Maasdam Jr., of West Brook, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. John(Minnie) Hoekstra of Edgerton, Minn.; two brothers, George of South Gate, Calif., and Delbert of St. Louis, MO.; 13 Grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
