FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services on Monday, March 9, 1992, at 1:30 P.M. from the Central Reformed Church of Sioux Center, Iowa.

Gerald, son of Mr. Gerrit and Mrs. Jennie (Dykstra) Nettinga was born on November l 5,1930, at rural Hull, Iowa. He lived his youth in Hull and Sioux Center and attended school there.

He was united in marriage to Helen J. Vermeer on November 23, 1951, in Sioux Center, Iowa. After their marriage, they lived in Hull and Sioux Center. Helen passed away September18, 1983.

He was a member of New Life Reformed Church of Sioux Center, the Kiwanis Club, and American Legion. He also sang in the church choir. He worked for AREA IV for the past 16 years, retiring in 1991.

Survivors include: two sons, Ronnie L. and his wife Sandy, and Gerry E. Nettinga of Sioux Center, Iowa; two daughters and sons-in-law, Bonnie L. and Stan Sandvik of Fargo, North Dakota, and Sharla B. and Keith Boone of Sioux Center, Iowa; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Morris and Orville Nettinga of Hull, Iowa; one sister, Mrs. Stanley (Shirley) Sybesma of Hull, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, brothers-in-law, Stanley Sybesma, Henry, John and Bernard Vermeer, and sisters-in-law, Geneva Vander Pol and Leonne Vermeer.
