Rock Valley--Herman W. Zimmerman, 76, of Rock Valley, died Tuesday in an auto accident in Monroe, Wis.
Services were at 2 p.m. Saturday in Peace Lutheran Church at Sioux Center with the Rev. James Frank officiating. Burial was in the Valley View Cemetery at Rock Valley under direction of the Porter Funeral Home, Rock Valley.
Mr. Zimmerman was born May 22, l901 at Monroe. He married Emma Muehlenthaler Nov. 29, l932 at Sioux Center. Mrs. Zimmerman Died Oct. 23, l974. He farmed in the Rock Valley area. He served in the U.S. Navy from Oct. 6, l920 to Dec. 24, l923.
Survivors include brothers, Otto of Forestburg, S.D., and Carl of Janesville, Wis.; an adopted brother, Arthur Discher of Carey, Ill.; a half brother, Fred Brechbuhal of Beloit, Wis.; sisters, Mrs. Carl Galos of Beloit and Mrs. Boxel of Chicago.
