Hull-William R. Stange, 86, Hull, died Sept. 26 at St. Luke's Medical Center in Sioux City after a brief illness.

Services were at 2 P.M., Sept. 28, at St. Paul Lutheran Church at Hull. The Rev. Lyle Blaide officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of the Kraai Funeral Home.

Mr. Stange was born May 11, 1890, in Edelstein, Minn. He came to the Boyden-Hull area in 1902. He married Marie I. Wagner March 31, 1915, in Hull. She died in 1967.

Mr. Stange farmed in the Hull area for 50 years, retiring in 1965. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Survivors include a son, Lyle of Sioux City; a daughter, Mrs. Orlynn (Luella) Strampe of Paullina; two brothers, George of Hull and John of Rembrandt; three sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Laura) Schubert of Merrill, Wis., and Mrs. Willis (Emma) Steffen and Mrs. Naso (Hattie) Janssen, both of Sioux Falls, S.D., and eight grandchildren.
