Orange City-David Wilson Maxwell, 34, rural Orange City died Oct. 26 in a traffic accident near his farm.

Private funeral services were held Nov. 1 at The Van Gelder Funeral Home of Orange City in charge.

Mr. Maxwell was born Aug. 22, 1942 at Oklahoma City, Okla. He married Carolyn Dionne Jan. 12, 1963 at San Miguel, Calif. He operated a salvage business near Orange City.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Roger Allen, Craig Edwin, and one daughter, Carla Jean, all at home; his father, Clarence of Bakersfield, Calif.; and two sisters, Mrs. Celah Smith of Bakersfield and Miss Sylia of Orange City.
