Sioux Center-John Colenbrander, 63, Sioux Center, died Nov. 5 at St. Luke's Hospital in Sioux City.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., Nov. 8 at the First Reformed Church of Sioux Center. The Rev. Wesley Kiel officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Mr. Colenbrander was born Dec. 3, 1912, in Sioux Center. He attended public schools in Sioux City and Northwestern College in Orange City. He married Mary Vande Berg May 18, 1937, in Sioux Center.

Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Dean (Gladys) Van Peursem of Mercer Island, Wash., and Mrs. Duane (Audrey) Brummel of Hull; and seven grandchildren.
