VANPEURSEM, VANSTEENBERGEN

Orange City-Mrs. John A. Van Peursem, 90, of Orange City, died Nov. 19 at a Sioux Center hospital of a brief illness.

Services were held at 10:30 A.M., Nov. 22 in the First Christian Reformed Church at Orange City. The Rev. John Hellinga officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery under direction of Van Gelder Funeral Home.

Mrs. Van Peursem, the former Winnie Van Steenbergen, was born May 27, 1886, at Pella. She was married on Jan. 30, 1919, at Pella. She was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church, an associate member of the Monica Society and also a member of "Uw Koningkryk Kome," a women's society of the church.

Survivors include the widower; two sons, Myron of Alton and Cecil of Lake Worth, Fla.; one daughter, Mrs. Neal (Grace) Mol of Sioux Center; 13 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
