Sioux Center-Anthony Van Ravenswaay, 72, Sioux Center, died Nov. 27 at his home after a brief illness.

Services were at 1:30 P.M., Nov. 30 in the Memorial Funeral Home. The Rev. William Suyker officiated. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Van Ravenswaay was born Dec. 30, 1903 in The Netherlands. He came to this country as a young man. He married Gerdena Vande Berg Feb. 21, 1927, in Sioux City. He lived near Sioux Center most of his life.

Survivors include the widow; four sons, Ralph of Hot Springs, S.D., Rich of Montevideo, Minn., and Harold and Anthony Jr., both of Sioux Center; five daughters, Mrs. Junior (Alice) Dooyema of Maurice, Mrs. Bill (Gertrude) Horstman and Mrs. Gerrit (Carol) Koedam, both of Sioux Center, Mrs. John (Rena) Van Voorst of Maurice, and Mrs. Gary (Mary) Lee of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 33 grandchildren; three brothers, Joe of Sioux Center, Henry of Corona, Calif., and Gerrit of Sheldon; and two sisters, Mrs. Jake Dibbet of Sioux Center and Mrs. Bill Vander Linden of Sheldon.
