Hermina Jansen, 70, died Thursday at the Grand Forks Hospital. She was the daughter of John and Johanna Jansen, born Aug. 1, 1906 at Sioux Center. She moved to Hallock and graduated from high school, attended Calvin College and taught school in Michigan, Illinois, Colorado and Gallup Indian School in New Mexico.

Survivors are one sister, Mrs. Margaret Wilson of Royal Oakes, Mich., five brothers Ben of Hallock, Ted of Mesa, Ariz.,Jim of Anahiem, Calif., Joe of Minneapolis, Minn., and Matthew of Denver, Colo. Burial took place Saturday at the Presbyterian Church of Hallock, Minn.
