WILLIAM LANGSTRAAT
Funeral services were held for William Langstraat, 76, at the First Reformed Church of Orange City, Saturday, November 25, who passed away in the Sioux Center hospital November 21 after undergoing surgery November 18.
Rev. R. Van Heukelom officiated with Rev. Henry Colenbrander assisting. Funeral arrangements were by Van Etten Funeral Service with burial in the Newkirk cemetery.
He was born at Newkirk December 17, l885. He married Jane a/k/a Jennie Van Meeteren of Newkirk in 1910, who preceded him in death in 1951 as also one son, Walter, who passed away at the age of seven.
Surviving are Cornie of Lynden, Wash., Angelina (Mrs. Gerrit J. Leusink) Clinton, Wisc., Howard of Sheldon, John of Sibley, William of Boyden, Jennie (Mrs Eugene Vander Brake) of Maurice, Dick and Peter of Orange City.
There are 26 grandchildren; three sisters and one brother.
