ORANGE CITY--Mrs. Gordon Mackie, 80, of Orange City died Sunday at an Orange City hospitial following a brief illness.

Services were at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the American Reformed Church, Hull. Burial was in Hope Cemetery, Hull under the direction of the Kraai Funeral Home of Hull.

Mrs.Mackie, the former Coba VerSteeg, born Jan. 1897,in Orange City. She was married April 8, 1920, in Hull. The couple lived in Hull for a number of years. Mr. Mackie died in 1969 and Mrs Mackie moved to Orange City. She was a homemaker and a member of the American Reformed Church ar Hull.

Survivors include a son Milton of White Bear Lake,Minn.; a daughter, Mrs. Russell (Shirley) Krover of Urbandale; two sisters Miss Ada Vertsteeg and Mrs. Mildred Versteeg, both of Orange City; and five grandchildren
