ORANGE CITY--Walter Bouwman, 92, of Orange City, died Wednesday at an Orange City Hospital.

Services were at 1:30 Friday in the First Christian Reformed Church, The Rev. John H. Rubingh officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery under direction of the Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center

Mr. Bouwman was born July 17, 1884 in Barneveld, The Netherlands. He came to the United State in 1918. He married Johanna Smit on Feb. 6, 1919, in Newkirk. The couple resided in the Granville,Maurice, Sioux Center and Orange City communities. She died on Nov. 14, 1960

Survivors include a son, Edward of Sanford, NC; four daughters, Mrs. Joe (Antoinette)Heida of Hyland, Calif., Miss Marie, and Mrs. Ted (Nel)Drost, both of Orange City, and Mrs. Ed (Adrienna) Foreman of Sioux Center; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; two brothers,William of Inwood and Gradus of Nykerk, Holland; and a sister Mrs. F Jensen of Apeldoorn,Holland
