Orange City--Evert Reinders, l01, Orange City's oldest resident died Wednesday in a Sioux City hospital.
Services were at l0 a.m. Saturday in the First Christian Reformed Church at Orange City. The Rev. William Van Peursem officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery under direction of the Van Gelder Funeral Home.
Mr. Reinders was born July 26, l875, in The Netherlands and came to this country with his parents at the age of 7. He married Mrs. Jeanette Van Peursem Reinders Oct l0, l928 at Orange City. They farmed south of Orange City until l943, when they moved into town. They had resided in the Pioneer Memorial Home in Orange City the last three years.
Survivors include the widow; three daughters, mrs. Clarence (Everly)Visser and Mrs. Delbert (Sebianne) Popma, both of Orange City, and Mrs. Gertrude Singer of South Bend, Ind.; two sons, John B. of Orange City and Bernard of Orange City; 15 grandchildren and l6 great-grandchildren.
