Larry Donald Petersom born January 28, 1943, died Nov 2, 1991 age 48 years, 9 months, 4 days. Funeral services were on Nov 6, 1991 at 2:00 p.m. from the Frist Christian Reformed church of Sioux Center IA. Rev. Dale Visser officiated. Interment in Memory Gardens Sioux Center.
Larry, son of Carl and Amy (Mason) Peterson was born January 28, 1943, in Aurelia, Iowa. He lived his youth and attended school in Aurelia.
Larry was united in marriage to Kathleen Van Ravenswaay of Ireton, Iowa on December 30, 1969. The marriage took place in Sioux Center IA.
Larry served in the army during the Vietnam conflict from the spring of 1968 to the fall of 1969.
Larry was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church of Sioux Center. He was also a member of the American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans.
Larry is survived by his wife Kathleen; three children; Rhonda Dawn, Craig Edwin, and Carla Marie all at home; his mother Mrs. Carl Amy Peterson of Aurelia; one sister Mrs. Keith Beth Troyer of Eagan MN; one nephew and two nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father, Carl E. Peterson.
