ORANGE CITY--Mrs. Lou Cleveringa, 85, of Orange City, died Thursday in a Rock Valley hospital.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the First Reformed Church at Orange City. The Rev. Raymond R. Van Heukelom and the Rev. Perry Raak officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery with Van Etten-Oolman Funeral Home in charge.

Mrs. Cleveringa, the former Jenny Roghair, was born Jan. 8, 1892, in rural Orange City. She was married Feb. 24, 1910 in Orange City. The couple farmed several years in the Orange City area, and moved into town in 1946. Mr Cleveringa died in 1968. Mrs. Cleveringa was a member of First Reformed Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Albert (Rouvina) Wiekamp of Alton, Mrs. Hilbert (Henrietta) Jager of Orange City and Mrs. Jake (Alice) Foreman of Maurice; a son Nick of Alton; 20 Grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Mrs. Johanna Vander Broek of Boone, Mrs. Gerhart Van Dam Sr. of Edgerton, Minn., Mrs.Chester De Jong of Denver, Mrs. Kenneth Groen of Sibley and Mrs. Earl Moermond of Chapple, Neb, and two brothers Ed of Bellflower, Calif. and William of Hospers
