SIOUX CENTER--Marion Kuyper, 73 of Sioux Center, died Thursday in a hospital at Sioux Falls of long illness. Services were at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Carmel Reformed Church, rural Sioux Center. Rev David Laman officiated. Burial was in Carmel Cemetery, with the Memorial Funeral Home of Sioux Center in charge.

Mr. Kuyper was born May 11, 1903 at Carmel. He married Marie B. Remmerde at Carmel April 27, 1923. The couple farmed near Sioux Center.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Herbert of Sioux Center; four daughters, Mrs. Henry (Eleanor) Hooyer of Sheldon, Mrs. Donald (Anna Mae) Dykstra of Hull, Mrs. Jim (Mildred) Wassenaar of Orange City and Mrs. Wilmer (Marilyn) Rensink of Sioux Center; 18 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; one brother Guysbert of Rock Valley; three sisters, Mrs. Hubert (Nelle) Niemoth of Sheldon, Mrs. Ben (Amy) Wolfswinkel of Wyndmere, SD, and Mrs. William C (Evelyn) Huyser of Pella.
