William Rienstra, 82, Rock Valley, died Sunday at a local hospital of a lengthy illness.
Services were at l0 a.m. Wednesday at Calvin Christian Reformed Church in Rock Valley. The Rev. John Engbers officiated. Burial was at 2:30 p.m. in Emmanuel Reformed Christian Church Cemetery in Springfield S.D. under the direction of the Porter Home of Rock Valley.
Mr. Rienstra was born June 17, 1895 in The Netherlands. Her married Ann Venkelassen and she died in l976.
He was a World War I veteran and worked at an Omaha department store until his retirement in 1964, when he moved to Valley Manor in Rock Valley.
Survivors include two brothers, John of St. Joseph, Mo., and August of Denver, Colo., and a sister, Mrs. Deddo (Thresa) Gelling of Avon, S.D.
