Funeral services were held at the Associated Church in Hawarden March 16 for Oscar Norberg, 80, of Hawarden, who died March 13 in the Hawarden hospital following a short illness.

Services were conducted by the Rev. Herbert Young and burial was made in the Grace Hill cemetery at Hawarden.

Mr. Norberg was born in Sweden June 13, 1890, and came to Hawarden as a boy of 19 in 1909. He farmed and fed cattle in the Alcester, S.D., and Hawarden area prior to retiring in 1965. He was married to Dorothy Dick November 18, 1917.

Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Flink, of Long Beach; a son, Carl, of Denver; three sisters, Mrs. Segreid Ekstrom of Yucaipa, Calif., Mrs. Wm. Martinelli of Covina, Calif., and Mrs. Rhymer Ohlund of Calimesa, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
