Martin Vander Broek, 64, of Orange City, died April 26 at a Sioux City hospital.

Services were at 10 A.M., April 29 in First Reformed Church of Orange City. The Rev. Perry Raak officiated. Burial was in the West Lawn Cemetery with the Van Etten Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Vander Broek was born Sept. 19, 1911, at Maurice. He married Johanna Dorothy Kleinwolterink Dec. 1, 1927, at Orange City. He was employed by Sioux County for 20 years. The couple resided in Orange City.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Merlyn of Orange City and Dennis of Sergeant Bluff; five grandchildren; three brothers, Tony of Orange City, Peter of Denver, Colo., and Gerrit of Maurice; and one sister, Mrs. Gerrit (Henrietta) Riphagen of Maurice.
