Funeral services were held last week at Bellflower, California, for Willis Nyenhuis, age 63, of Artesia, who died on Saturday, May 16, 1981, at Veteran's hospital in Long Beach, California. The services were held at Rosewood Christian Reformed church, Bellflower. Interment was in Artesia cemetery, Carritos, California. He had been ill for about six weeks.

Nyenhuis was born at Hull, Sioux county, Iowa, on April 3, 1918 and married Esther Vander Haar on January 4, 1944 in California.

Survivors include the widow; one daughter, Mrs. John (Kaye) Vander Dussen of Chino, Calif., and two sons, William Jay and Merwyn, both of Bellflower; three grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Abe Feen of Artesia, Calif., and two brothers, Gerrit of Rock Rapids and Floyd of Sioux Falls, So. Dakota.
