Reynold Harsma, 90, of Worthington, Minn., died Thursday, May 20, 2004, at Worthington Regional Hospital.

Services were Monday at Church of Christ, Worthington, with interment in Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

Mr. Harsma was born Jan. 7, 1914 in Ireton, the son of Peter and Catherine (Sinem)(sic-Sinnema) Harsma. He grew up in Rock Rapids, graduated from Rock Rapids High School and earned a master's degree in electricity.

On April 15, 1939, he married Mary Aning in Sibley. They lived in the Fulda, Minn. area before moving to Worthington. He worked for Nobles Cooperative Electric 40 years.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Reynold Jr. of Yorba Linda, Calif., Robert of Placentia, Calif., Gene of Corona, Calif., and Larry of Rushmore, Minn.; 12 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one sister, Dorothy De Yonge of Pierre, S. D.

He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and three sisters.
