HENRY SIEGE

Henry Siege, 81, Sioux County, Ia., resident for 64 years, died Saturday at his farm home near Maurice, Ia.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Reading Township, Sioux County. Burial will be in the church cemetery under the direction of Mauer funeral home of LeMars.

Mr. Siege was born April 8, 1872, of Mechanicsville, Ia., He moved to Sioux County in March, 1890.

He married Wilhelmine Kruckenberg of Lowden, Ia., May 26, 1898. She died in 1945.

He was a retired farmer and had been sick for the last four years.

Survivors are three daughters, Miss Selma Siege of Maurice, Mrs. Sidonia Onken of Ireton, and Mrs. Sylvia Chapman of LeMars; two sons, Sylvester and Silas, both of Maurice; three sisters, and nine grandchildren.

Rev. D. Heck will officiate.

Surviving sisters include: Mrs. Anne Henry of Seattle; Mrs. Clara Schwier of Sioux City; and Mrs. Lena Mueller of Maurice.
