The marriage of Arthur Enkhorn of Center township and Miss Henrietta VanderGrift, residing east of Sioux Center, took place Thursday, February 23, 1928, at the home of the groom’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. Enkhorn, in Center township. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Y. Ypma, of Sioux Center, in the presence of immediate relatives and friends.The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Enkhorn, well known farmers of Center township, and is an exemplary young man and a rising young farmer of this community. The bride is the only daughter of A. VanderGrift, residing east of Sioux Center, and is a young lady of charming personality, beloved by all who enjoy her acquaintance. She well versed in the arts of home-making and will make a happy home for the man of her choice. The happy young couple will make their home on a farm east of Sioux Center, amid the best wishes of their many friends. On Thursday evening a reception was held at the home of the bride for the happy couple.
