Dimmick-Larson Wed On Saturday, June 1
Marriage vows were exchanged by Miss Shirley Dimmick and Richard Larson on Saturday, June 1st at 4:00 in the afternoon at First Methodist Church in Ha warden. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Dimmick and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Larson are the groom's parents. Rev. Herbert Gould officiated at the double ring ceremony which was performed in a setting of candelabra and bouquets of yellow and white mums and daisies.
The bride, escorted down the aisle by her brother, Roger, was then given in marriage by her father. She wore a white dotted swiss dress. The gown featured a high ruffled neckline, sheer bishop sleeves and an empire waistline. Her veil was a Juliet Cap, that was elbow length edged in lace. She carried a nosegay of yellow roses and yellow and white daisies.
Miss Lynn Thoreson was maid of honor, with Miss Genise Smith and Miss Renee Gould as bridesmaids. Sherry Brewer was flower girl. Miss Kristi Larson and Miss Kay Brandsma were candle lighters.
The bride's sisters served as personal attendants, Mrs. Glenn Brandsma and Miss Jeanette Dimmick. Best man was Randy Larson with Joe Wilson and Steve Sembach as groomsmen. Jay Dimmick was ring bearer. Ushers were Glenn Brandsma, Bud Dimmick, Rick Seaton and Mark Black.
After a trip to Minnesota, the couple will be home in Sioux City, Iowa.
